What is Sapporo Kani han?

Sapporo Kanihan Co., Ltd. was founded in 1967 in Nemuro as "Marudai Osawa Suisan," a crab processing and wholesale business. Later, the head office was moved to Sapporo, and Sapporo Kanihan Co., Ltd. was established. Currently, we operate "Kanikosen," a restaurant specializing in crab and seafood bowls, at the Sapporo Nijo Market. In addition to offering live crabs, seafood bowls, and tempura bowls at our restaurant, we also deliver the flavors of Hokkaido to the whole country through our participation in events held at department stores both domestically and internationally. While cherishing the discerning eye and techniques we have cultivated since our founding, we aim to continue to be a company that can spread the charm of Hokkaido's seas throughout Japan.
